LIGHTING UP LIVES: UNIGENS SOLAR LAMP INITIATIVE FOR RURAL TEA FARMERS
On 7th February, 2025, Unigen took a landmark step to give back to the heart of our premium tea and coffee—the dedicated rural farmers who make it all possible. In a gesture of gratitude, we replaced outdated paraffin lanterns used by tea farmers and pickers with energy-saving solar lamps, bringing light, safety, and sustainability to their daily lives.

For many tea farmers, late-night work in the fields has long meant relying on paraffin lamps, exposing them to harmful fumes and contributing to environmental damage.
